Hold on to Your Purse

I just read an article where a boy in Oregon parked his bike inside a Goodwill Thrift Store and it was sold for $6.99. It all turned out alright, since the person who bought it came forward after reading an article about the goof. Poor kid. I hope he bought a lock for that bike when he got it back!

The funny thing is that a Goodwill spokesman said this had happened before. Once a janitor left a mop and bucket out on the floor and when he returned it had been sold. Really?
