Poo tagged me. This is kind of fun.

6 quirks about me.

1. I have to have complete darkness to sleep. Which is hard to do with 3 children and a husband who likes to fall asleep with the TV on. But I have this really cool mask I wear over my eyes. I even wore it at Girl Scout camp a couple of weeks ago.

2. I don't like the self checkout option in stores. No one uses it right. Except me, of course.

3. I don't like to speak in front of a crowd. I get very very nervous. However, if I am onstage in a play or singing, I don't get nervous. At all.

4. I ate cherry pie filling out of the can while I was pregnant with all 3 of my children.

5. I love Jon Bon Jovi like I was a silly little girl. Really, I'm not exaggerating.

6. People who don't have patience with children really piss me off.

I always enjoy going over visit my friend The Chick. She posted this meme that I found so interesting and fun.

Here are the Rules:

1. Pick up the nearest book ( of at least 123 pages).

2. Open the book to page 123.

3. Find the fifth sentence.

4. Post the next three sentences.

The book that just happens to be closest to me at the moment is Wild at Heart: Discovering the Secret of a Man's Soul. Because I live with 3 of them. I have not gotten to page 123 yet, but the fifth line of page 123 goes like this:

We know we are meant to embody strength, we know we are not what we were meant to be, and so we feel our brokenness as a source of shame.

It continues with:

As we spoke of his wound recently, and how needed to enter into it for healing, Dave protested. "I don't even want to go there. It all feels so true."

As a woman, I am always saying that men don't understand us. This book tells me why. Well, not these lines just pulled out of thin air, but the portions of the book I've read! And it's very enlightening to figure out how men are wired and what's going on there.

Now, actually, Chick didn't tag me, but this was fun, so I'm doing it anyway!

Meme for my friend Skittle

Alright Skittle. You tagged me. And I don't even what a Meme is. Ha! So here goes, because it's fun & I am as new to this tagging stuff as I am to the blogging world...

6 Random Things About Me

1. I don't like tags. Paper tags, that is. In my clothes, on my sheets or towels, I might be a freak.
2. I have a checklist of what I want to do before, you know... I abandon this smokin' hot body I now inhabit.
3. I love to sing & act.
4. I am a PTA mom. And I like it.
5. I have the most incredible husband in the world, 3 beautiful children & 2 wonderful nephews.
6. There is the possibility that if the opportunity offered itself, I might leave DH for Jon Bon Jovi. But DH could possibly leave me for Jon Bon Jovi as well.
