What Makes the World Go 'Round?
Do you ever wonder? Well, I'll tell you what makes the world go 'round. Dandelions. Sounds too simple, doesn't it? Well, it is.
But in our hurry, rush and go lives, we very rarely take the time to stop and smell the flowers.
Today we were rushing, The Flying Monkey goes to see his speech therapist twice a week and we were flying (no pun intended) to get to Mrs. Toodah's office.
Remaining true to himself, Monkey stopped to pick a dandelion. And blow the seeds. I joined him. We had fun. And we were not late.

Do You Understand?
"In the event that a parent has a problem or complaint with our program, they should submit a written report to the Director. Should the Director not resolve the grievance, it may be brought to the attention of the Weekday Education Board."
Is that hard to understand?

Daddy's Day Off
Wow. So DH just returned last night from a business trip. A long trip. He was gone for 11 days. In a row. Good LARD, was I ready for him to come home!
We did alright while he was gone, the kids just really missed him and they were really tired of looking at Mommy and especially tired of listening to Mommy. It's OK, I was a little tired of me too.
DH decided he was going to take the day off today to just get some rest. I let The Flying Monkey stay home with him today too. They had a nice boys' morning.
And I was so proud of DH. He has the capability to work from home. It could be convenient if his company would really let him do that. But usually he is working from home when he is home sick. Which I hate, I feel he shouldn't be charged a sick day if he's actually working (which he is). But, who am I? I'm not in charge there and until I am things will stay the way they are! Ha, ha!
Oh yeah, so the reason I am proud of DH - he really stayed home today. Like I said, he usually works when he is home. He just can't help it. "These things have to be done!" is usually what I hear. But today... He didn't open his laptop and he didn't answer his BlackBerry. (well, I have to admit he might have before I got home or when I wasn't watching...) But from what I saw, he never opened them. That's a big deal, folks.
(for some reason, I deleted this the first time, in a fit of "oh, people actually read this" kind of thing... forgive me, it's back!)

Mrs. MandyPoo also did something similar, but I might do hers later!

2. Type in your answer to the question in the "search" box
3. Use only the first page
4. Insert the picture into your Blog
1.) What is your Relationship Status?
2.) Who is your Celebrity Crush?
3.) Who is your Favorite Band / Artist?
4.) What is your Favorite Movie?
5.) What kind of Pet do you have?
6.) Where do you live?
7.) Where do you work?
8.) What do you look like?
9.) What do you drive?
11.) What is your Favorite TV Show?
12.) Describe yourself:
14.) What is your Name?
15.) What's your Favorite Candy?

Identity Crisis
My friend Mrs. MandyPoo is having a bit of an identity crisis. She has decided her blog needs a new name. Now, I love saying "Poo." So, I think that she should retain the "Poo" in her name.
There are many things about Poo that I love, her sense of humor, her family, her love for UGA, her honesty, but mostly, I love saying "Poo."
Now since JM, Poo & Baby Eli live with many wonderful fur-babies, you could say it's almost farm-like. So, what about "Mrs. MandyPoo's Farm?" Or even "Mrs. MandyPoo Had a Farm?"
I like it... it has "Poo" in it. So I can still say it and giggle.

How Sweet It Is
My family is fun. More specifically, my children are fun! There is never a dull moment and we always have fun things to do!
We've had 3 fun birthdays and a fun school dance recently. Here are some fun photos! Enjoy!

Overheard at Preschool - Captain Random to the Rescue
Overheard at preschool:
Friendly Neighborhood Firefighter: What do you do if your clothes catch on fire?
The Flying Monkey & classmates: Stop, Drop and Roll!
FNF: Good! Now raise your hand if you have a smoke detector in your house.
TFM: (Raising hand with 3 fingers) We have three!
FNF: Remember to tell your parents to change the batteries today, since the time just changed!
TFM: We have new carpet!
In case you wanted to know...

No, YOU'RE Stupid
I'd really love to just stay at home all day tomorrow with my children. Keep them out of school even. I would love to be able to stay at home.
But mainly I hate my job. It's just been a really stupid crazy few weeks. But it's nothing that no one else hasn't faced in their job.
I just am waiting until the day when I can have a plain old simple job that I go to each day and leave all the baggage when I go home. And keep the same hours as the kids.
So, my post title pretty much reflects how I feel at the moment about my job. I'm sure you can all relate at least a little bit!

I'm Quirky! (not to be confused with Perky.)
Poo tagged me. This is kind of fun.
6 quirks about me.
1. I have to have complete darkness to sleep. Which is hard to do with 3 children and a husband who likes to fall asleep with the TV on. But I have this really cool mask I wear over my eyes. I even wore it at Girl Scout camp a couple of weeks ago.
2. I don't like the self checkout option in stores. No one uses it right. Except me, of course.
3. I don't like to speak in front of a crowd. I get very very nervous. However, if I am onstage in a play or singing, I don't get nervous. At all.
4. I ate cherry pie filling out of the can while I was pregnant with all 3 of my children.
5. I love Jon Bon Jovi like I was a silly little girl. Really, I'm not exaggerating.
6. People who don't have patience with children really piss me off.
So, it's out there, I'm not going to tag anyone, just do it if you want... I'd love to see who wants to play along!

Where'd She Go?
I've been out of it the past week. Going through some crazy things at work these days. Just wanted to say hello and let you know that I am still alive. Not too Bossy at the moment, but I'll get there.
Have a great week!
